Cakebread is a family-run winery on the Rutherford stretch of Highway 29, known for Chardonnay and Cabernet and for a garden that feeds the pairing menus. The experiences are guided and seated, and the setting is relaxed more than formal. Gardens and courtyard seating are part of the pleasure.

The Family Tasting is $50 per adult over 21, with guests under 21 complimentary, offered daily at 10am. Private tastings for six to twelve are $125 per person.
