What it's like
Zuzu has served Spanish-inspired food on Main Street since 2002, using regional Northern California ingredients. The menu is tapas, paella and small plates, and the room has a Mediterranean feel. It is a lively place rather than a hushed one.
Who it's best for
Groups who like to share and graze, and travelers who want a flexible meal in the middle of the day or late at night. It is a good choice for a first-night dinner with friends because the small plates make it easy to order for a table.
What to order & how to book
Tapas, small plates and paella are the center of the menu. Plan to order several plates between you and add a paella if the table is hungry. Zuzu is open from noon to 10 pm daily, with a late-night menu from 10 to 11 pm Thursday to Saturday.
Reservations are handled online for parties of six or fewer and are available after 4:00 pm only; there are no lunch reservations, but walk-ins are welcome all day. For larger parties, email res@zuzunapa.com, and groups of 10 or more need a set menu. Patio seating is by request only and cannot be guaranteed. Takeout is available through their online ordering page.
How it fits into a day
Zuzu works as a lunch stop between tasting rooms, a casual dinner, or a late bite after an evening in town. It is steps from the Main Street cluster that includes Angele, Torc and Cole's Chop House. After a few glasses of wine, rideshare or walk home.
