Rutherford is a natural midpoint for a day of tastings, so lunch here splits a morning and afternoon of appointments neatly. Several well-known wineries are a short drive away, but the valley is spread out, so plan ahead with a designated driver, a rideshare or a driver-led tour. If you are traveling between Yountville and St. Helena, this is an easy place to stop.
